Tiger Chili Crab Festival After an agonizing ten minutes of trying to find a parking space at Madinat Jumeirah my mood is anything but pleasant, although INSTANTLY changes when I reach the amphitheater where the Tiger Chili Crab Festival is being held. The live chilled out music, bean bags, beautiful weather and whiff of scrumptious food takes me from 0 to 60 in 3.5, they had the keys to make my mood oh so sublime. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist, that song was playing on the radio on my way to work) There are six kiosks lined at the end of the amphitheater offering dumplings, barbeque chicken, noodles, roasted chicken, boiled crab and chili crab. My choice selection goes something like this, no, no, no, no, no, YESS! - I have one thing and one thing only on my mind – Chili Crab. I quickly skip over (I skip when I’m happy) to the coupon stand, purchase a hand full and rush back to the chili crab stand. “One chili crab please.” The chef proceeds to construct my order. He takes a full crab shell, fills it to the brim with chili crab and adds two slices of baguette and greenery. My chili crab turns out to be the most beautiful dish I have received from a kiosk stand. Behind the stand I see a crab cooking station which affirms the freshness guaranteed by the chef. After putting the first bite in my mouth, I have a better appreciation for the name chili crab because it is CHILI in a I-want-more-and-more way. The generously large pieces of crab are tender, the baguette slices are perfect bight making devices and the greenery are something uncooked to balance the dish. The perfect compliment – Ice cold beer. With three days left, Thursday, Friday and Saturday it is a must go must see and must taste ASAP event. Doors open from 5pm to 11pm so you still have time to make the Chill Out Festival at Nasimi Beach. (Nasimi does offer a bbq but I doubt it would be anything more than standard) It’s the weekend of festivals in Dubai so take advantage. What I love: -        The food -        Live music -        Weather -        Bean bags What I didn’t love: -        Madinat parking – Come with taxi
