The Frozen Yoghurt Factory When I think of a yogurt shop a vision of healthiness comes to mind, like fresh fruits, the rainforest, the color green, a butterfly – why not and absolutely no artificial flavors. A place where a guiltless dessert exists. Walking up to The Yogurt Factory my “my vision of healthiness” dissolves.  The layout out of the sore is cute but there is an overpowering feeling of industrial metal, a far cry from my jungle filled with monkeys swinging from tree to tree. The Yogurt Factory has a do it yourself concept. There are four industrial machines that cool the yogurt; when you pull down the lever and the flavor of your choice is dispelled. Fun! Flavors: –        Vanilla & Chocolate Ice Cream: I’m here for yogurt not ice cream - next –        Plain Yogurt: Has a great basic yogurt taste, perfect level of sweeteness –        Blueberry Yogurt: Horribly sweet and feels like candy rather than yogurt –        Banana Yogurt: Sorry but no –        Mango Yogurt: Is the best, it has a fruity, fresh, tangy taste - Yumm –        Strawberry: Tasteless –        Melon: Tasteless Next there is what can only be described as a UFO looking refrigerator case that holds a great selection of fresh fruits, ranging from pomegranate to papaya to raspberries and more. And finally to the non fruit toppings which take up a quarter of the store. Toppings include candy, chocolate and everything sweet, I feel like I’m in a mini Candylicious. The large selection of everything sweet defeats the whole purpose of having a light and healthy yogurt dessert - but who can get mad at chocolate? I guess they're generalizing their store offerings to appeal to both the healthy and not so healthy yogurt lovers, personally I love store that specialize rather than generalize. What I Love: –        The experience of making my own yogurt dessert –        Price is based on weight What I didn’t love: –        Too much metal –        Some of the yogurt flavors were too sweet I’d say “Spoon It Over; but only the plain and mango flavored yogurt”
